All the different procedures that took place during your treatment are listed on your invoice. Each procedure is described using codes that have been established nationally by the government, which makes your invoice easy to check and understand.
We have outsourced our invoicing to Infomedics. Infomedics specialises in invoicing and processing claims from thousands of healthcare providers and works as follows:
If payment is still not received, you will receive a final reminder. The outstanding invoice amount will be increased by collection costs and statutory interest.
If payment is not received within the specified payment term, the invoice will be transferred to the Credios collection agency. payment arrangement can be made if more time is needed to settle the invoice. Please contact us for this.
Technical and material costs refer to costs incurred for the manufacture of dental prostheses, bridges and crowns. These costs vary per patient and per item.
Only part of the care provided by dentists and oral care practices is covered by basic insurance. Dental costs are fully reimbursed for children up to the age of 18, with the exception of crowns, bridges, braces and implants. For adults, both snap-on dentures and false teeth are covered by basic insurance, as are most treatments provided by oral surgeons (source: KNMT). .
Our accounts are handled by Infomedics. This allows us to devote more time to you and ensures that invoicing is handled smoothly and efficiently. In many cases, Infomedics submits the invoice directly to your health insurer (this is called clearing). Depending on your (supplementary) insurance, part of the bill will be reimbursed by your health insurer.
The part of the bill that is not paid by the health insurer will then be invoiced to you. You will receive the invoice from Infomedics by email or, if you prefer, by post. Therefore, please ensure that we have your correct details. At the reception desk, you can obtain a handy card on which you can indicate whether you would prefer to receive your invoice by email or by post, and on which you can fill in all your details.
All dental care providers use the same price list set by the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa). It is important to us that you are well informed about the rates, which is why you will find the price list both online and in our waiting rooms. If you have any questions about your bill, please send us an email or give us a call. We will be happy to answer all your questions. We ask that you pay for your first visit by debit card. If you have supplementary insurance, we can submit the bill to your insurance company and you will receive a residual bill at home.
